2026 Summer Band Director Symposium

Join the Kennesaw State University Bands for the 5th Annual KSU Summer Bands Director Symposium 4-day workshop.

Presenters:

• David Kehler, Director of Bands, KSU
• David Roush, Assistant Director of Bands and Lecturer of Bands, KSU
• Brandon Meeks, Director of Athletic Bands and Assistant Professor of Music, KSU
• Rachel Sorenson, Assistant Professor of Music Education(Instrumental), KSU

This symposium for high school and middle school band directors will provide morning conducting sessions in front of large band ensemble playing significant repertoire followed by afternoon sessions on technique, rehearsal strategy, literature, repertoire, instrumental pedagogy.
