Description: This tinley conflcit resolution strategy training in a foster care setting will equip foster parents, bio-parents, caregivers, child welfare professionals (social workers, DFCS and CASA) and child attorneys with the vital and proven tools to manage and de-escalate conflcits in a trauma-informed, empathetic manner. This invaluable training focuses on the specific root drivers of conflcti with in foster care dynamics, resolution tools to minimize conflcit, enhancement of communications skills, active listening, emotional regulation, and collaborative problem-solving. Participants will learn to recognize the impact of trauma on behaviour, set consistent boundaries, and use restorative practices and conflcit coaching to rebuild trust and relationships with trumatized foster children. By fostering a safe and supportative environment, this training will help reduce tension, promote healing, and improve outcomes for children in care. Facilitator: John F.
