The KSU Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program curriculum builds upon the material covered in the KSU Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program. In a general way, the Green Belt program focuses on the process and tools for problem solving and lean DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) while the Black Belt program focuses on the data analysis side of problem solving. In addition, a powerful methodology for innovation and design thinking called DMADV will be introduced. The Black Belt program also introduces the statistical software Minitab*, a statistical software package commonly used by the Lean Six Sigma community.
*For the purpose of the classroom portion of the program, participants can access a free trial of Minitab available for 14 days after download.
