Online 40-Hour General Civil Mediation Training & Practicum 28-Hour General Civil Mediation Training Dates:February 5-8, 2025 Times: 9:00am - 5:30pm 12-Hour General Civil Mediation Practicum Dates:February 11 -12, 2025 February 11, 2025 / 3:00pm- 7:15pm February 12, 2025/ 8:00am - 5:30pm ABOUT: Febraury 5-8, 2025: The first 28-hour mediarion training focuses on an understanding of the mediaiton process, communication skills, agreement writing, and mediation ethics, Mediation skills are taught in a highly interactive format through short lectures, group discussion, focused exercises and coached role play. The training meets general mediation trainining requirements with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution (GODR). In addition , the training is approved for Continuing Legal Education (CLE'S) hours (28 hours regular including 3 hours of ethics) with the Georgia State Bar. February 11-12, 2025 The 12-Hour practicum will build upon the skills introduced during the General Civil Mediation Training. It provides an oppotunity for you to observe, reflect on and discuss the practice of mediation. The practicum may be taken in lieu of 5 real cases obeservations with an experienced mediator in mediaiton for the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution (GODR) for egistration purposes.
