Lean Six Sigma Green Belt offered by Coles College of Business Executive Education is designed for those with little or no prior experience with Lean and the DMAIC methodology of Six Sigma. Lean refers to the waste reduction tools and principles made famous by Toyota. DMAIC ...Define, Measure, Analyza, Improve, Control... is a data-driven, problem-solving approach that can be applied across industries.
LSS Green Belt participants learn the framework for solving problems and improving processes in a variety of hands-on projects and activities. Participants complete at least three Lean Six Sigma projects and leave the program with the tools needed to solve real world process problems.
Instructor: Lee Campe, President, Performance Excellence, Inc and Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt
Lee Campe is a proven Lean Six Sigma deployment leader with a wide array of expertise in all facets of business and continuous improvement. He has extensive experience in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) and Innovation through Design Thinking.
Prior to starting Performance Excellence, Lee was a Master Black Belt (MBB) for The Home Depot, with the responsiblility of coaching employees and mentoring projects across the US. Those mentored projects provided The Home Depot with over $200 million in savings.
In addition to work with The Home Depot, Lee was a Master Black Belt for GE, J&J, JP Morgan Chase and an adjunct professor for Georgia Tech's MBA program and Masters in Analytics.
